Couldn’t fault the place. Lovely relaxed atmosphere... Excellent food - huge portions, and terrific customer service. Not a place I would have thought of without seeing the voucher but we will certainly be back.

Came in for cocktails. Service was very friendly. Advised on what cocktails to best suit to our personal taste/likes by Calvin. Service and atmosphere was great so decided to stay for food. Seb served our drinks which was a great service and very friendly, food served by Calvin, Nothing was too much for both guys will definitely recommend and definitely return soon. Thanks guys x

Amazing food, great atmosphere, I had the chicken skewers and they were lovely! Well presented and tasted so good. Absolutely fab service from Rachael, she was very polite and helpful, couldn’t fault her at all. If only more restaurants had people like her serving.

Myself, my husband and our little boy have just visited the black olive in Hartlepool for lunch and we were so impressed with the food, service and price of our lunch! Michelle was a fantastic waitress, looking after us and being extremely friendly with our little boy, nothing was too much trouble - even when requesting alternative options to the menu. Our food was cooked by Sam and was absolutely delicious. We were very impressed how he was more than happy to adapt the child’s meal we order for our little boy to suit our needs.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. Only went in for cocktails but because the staff were so lovely and friendly decided to stay for food too. Seb was great, made us great cocktails. The manager Calvin was also great too! Definitely will be coming back!

Excellent service from Nathan, and fantastic food. Relaxed atmosphere would not hesitate to recommend. Table of 5 all selected various steaks which where cooked to perfection. Excellent start to the evening.

Very good atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and very good value. Service from the waiters was excellent. This was one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time and will be returning there again very soon.
